Product Description
The Burndy Y45 remote hydraulic crimp head provides 15 tons of crimping force, and is suitable for use with a range of copper and aluminum terminals, splices, and taps in conjunction with a 10,000 psi hydraulic pump. Its dies (not included) can be securely held in place with this tool’s positive die lock buttons. The C-shaped head on this crimper facilitates use in confined areas, its large jaw opening accommodates large distribution and transmission conductors, and it comes equipped with a lifting eye that aids the user in lifting the tool into a working position. This crimper is suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications where an appropriate hydraulic pump is present.
