Product Description

The Burndy Y35 hand-operated hydraulic crimper provides 12 tons of crimping force, and is suitable for overhead line work and compression grounding applications in conjunction with a 10,000 psi hydraulic pump. Its handles are covered with a 3/16″ layer of rubber for impact protection. Its crimp head rotates 180 degrees for improved access to connections, and it comes equipped with a 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi) blow-off pressure release valve to ensure that the proper amount of crimp force is applied. Its rapid ram advance eliminates the need to pump handles to advance the ram to the connector. This crimper is suitable for industrial and commercial overhead line work and compression grounding applications where an appropriate hydraulic pump is present.

Crimpers, also called crimping tools, pinch wire terminals and connectors to wires to prepare them for use in electrical or communications applications.
